Sorting Minerals

The Perception of the Month June shows the inline identification of various minerals according to two references under industrial conditions. It can be seen that stones are very heterogeneous material. By using industrial image processing on the Chemical Color stream provided by a Perception System the user can decide which concentrations of reference is "quality" and what is "reject".

For this application example there was used a Helios hyperspectral camera from the Austrian company EVK.
